Knights Court is our interpretation of the future of modern townhouse urban living in metropolitan Nigeria. The client requested 2 townhouses on a 600 sq.m. site in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The design solution brought about by the challenges of an situating 2no duplex units in a site 18m wide.

With an idea loosely based on a shuffled deck of cards, we sought to maximise the land use whilst still providing the landowner with units that allow maximum daylight penetration and irresistible views from the living and bedroom areas.

Once it was established that a traditional townhouse layout would be unsuitable for the site, we sought to develop an alternative which allowed us to provide the accommodation required for both townhouses over 3 levels.
